International Sounds
"A Band for Every Season and Any Reason"
Introducing a brand new Villages Lifestyle Club Band consisting of skilled resident musicians playing polkas and other international song & dance tunes We concentrate on a rich blend of sound, vocals and most importantly "fun".
We invite The Villages residents and resident musicians and singers to come listen to us on Wednesday mornings from 9 to 11am at the Homestead Recreation Center on Meggison Road south of Rt 44. Who knows, you may decide to dance, sing or play along. That would be great!
Our repertoire currently consists of Polish & Czech polkas, Bavarian beer drinking songs, American standards along with tunes from Spain, Italy, The Netherlands, Ireland, Israel, Mexico, Switzerland & Great Britain. We're currently working on Greece, France and the Caribbean.
If you've ever been to an ethnic wedding reception then you're looking and listening to the "International Sounds" style of entertainment!
